Infection controls and other safety precautions help to protect our patients and staff as well. Everybody benefits from severe infection control. You must feel free to discuss this matter with Dr. Dino or Dr. Angie, and you will receive a direct and clear answer.
Dr. Dino & Dr. Angie follows and exceeds the guidelines created by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Dental Association. We also abide by all provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s bloodborne pathogen rules.
These measures include:
- Using antiseptic hand soap
- Using face masks and gloves
- Sanitizing all countertops and surfaces with the help of chemical disinfectants
- Disinfecting each piece of equipment before every use
- Using disposable materials
At DNA Dental Studio we always make sure to disinfect every piece of reusable equipment, including oral handpieces. An autoclave is used, which is a device that destroys bacteria and viruses with the help of steam, heat, and pressure.
